John Abdo
John Abdo is an American health and fitness expert, businessman, nutritionist and motivational speaker.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=John Abdo )〕 He formerly worked as a strength coach for the U.S. Olympic team. He has authored and co-authored several books including ''Body Engineering'' with Kenneth Dackman, which includes techniques for projecting a new body image. His inventions (including a machine for "abdominal aerobics", the AB-DOer) are claimed to have 20 million users.〔 His AB-Doer was particularly popular, and has earned several hundred million dollars. Olympic competitors including speed-skater Bonnie Blair and track star Quincy Watts garnered Gold Medals with him as their trainer. From 1985 to 1997, he had a syndicated television program, Training and Nutrition 2000, which ''TV Guide'' said was "the most sophisticated fitness show on television."〔 He works as a personal trainer in Santa Barbara, California.
